sooo beautiful!
Once I built a railroad, I made it run Made it race against time Once I built a railroad, now it's done Brother, can you spare a dime Once I built a tower up to the sun Brick and rivet and lime Once I built a tower, now it's done Brother, can you spare a dime? Once in khaki suits, gee we looked swell Full of that Yankee-Doodly-dum Half a million boots went slogging through Hell And I was the kid with the drum Say, don't you remember, they called me "Al" It was "Al" all the time Why don't you remember, I'm your pal Say buddy, can you spare a dime You might also like And How I Hoped For Your Love Abbey Lincoln Bird Alone Abbey Lincoln Blue Monk Abbey Lincoln Once in khaki suits, ah gee we looked swell Full of that Yankee-Doodly-dum Half a million boots went slogging through Hell And I was the kid with the drum Oh, say, don't you remember, they called me "Al" It was "Al" all the time Say, don't you remember, I'm your pal Buddy, can you spare a dime
Everytime we say goodbye I die a little Everytime we say goodbye I wonder why a little Why the gods above me Who must be in the know Think so little of me They allow you to go When you're near There is such an air Of spring about it I can hear a lark somewhere Begin to sing about it There's no love song finer But how strange the change From major to minor Everytime we say goodbye When you're near There is such an air Of spring about it I can hear a lark somewhere Begin to sing about it There's no love song finer But how strange the change From major to minor Everytime we say goodbye
Try to think that love´s not around But it´s uncomfortably near My old heart ain´t gaining no ground Because my angel eyes ain´t here Angel eyes, that old Devil sent They glow unbearably bright Need I say that my love´s mispent Mispent with angel eyes tonight So drink up all you people Order anything you see Have fun you happy people The laughs and the jokes on me Pardon me but I got to run The fact´s uncommonly clear Got to find who´s now number one And why my angel eyes ain't here Oh, where is my angel eyes Excuse me while I disappear Angel eyes, angel eyes

É sempre bom bom poder ouvir músicas que nos levam a outros momentos tempos e locais aos quais não teremos mais acesso.

AWESOME cd. got it n Lllovvve em both... it's a set of two.
Yes, Jose, it's Stan Getz. And magnificent piano from Hank Jones. Abbey breaks your heart here like nobody else other than Billie could do.
Yessssss ....!
Cuando estes nervioso tomate una de estas. Maravilloso solo de Piano.
who plays the piano?
I cant even find that whole album anymore...
Mike Renzi, on piano.
@@sinisaborota4365 I had the doble album, I bought it brand new in an old bookstore in the downtown of the city of Trujillo in Peru back in the 2005. It was like a treasure when I found it and cheap! I couldn't bellieve the cost! S/15, or about USD5 man, what a treasure! But one day I commited the most stupid thing: I tried to impress a girl I used to like and I lend to her. She never gave me the CDs back. What a fool, such stupid I was...
